There is no preferred test for the IRCC for immigration and Canadian PR. You can take whichever test is most convenient for you because the results of all the tests are equal.
Since Canada is a bilingual country, you may be able to boost your eligibility by submitting test results in both English and French. However, it’s not mandatory to be qualified in both languages.
